DSPA-5 Halts Restaurant Fire in its Tracks

The fire suppression data provided at a DSPA-5 sponsored training session for the Platte Canyon Fire Department was so compelling that they decided to buy one. The very next day the DSPA-5 proved its worth by knocking down a fire in the kitchen of a Platte Canyon restaurant.

Introduced to the fire through the kitchen door, the DSPA-5 quickly drew the fire down, keeping it from spreading and denying ignition to ever-present food grease.

Now convinced, the department has ordered a new DSPA-5 to replace the original.
