About the role
As Sales Engineer, you enjoy exploring technical solutions. You take the time to understand each customer's needs and recommend the right solution. This ranges from calculating and quoting individual components to designing, putting together and quoting complete installations.

Your responsibilities

• You carry out the engineering needed to install and commission fire suppression systems worldwide.
• You produce the design, working and as-built drawings, and the manual for each system, in line with the instructions and guidelines you receive.
• You create final designs and calculations for new fire suppression systems in large offshore and renewable energy projects, buildings, warehouses, production halls, care facilities, hospitals and (heavy) industry.
• You win projects and manage them together with the customer and the installers involved.

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree
• Experience in sales and building services engineering
• Some experience in a commercial/technical (B2B) role, as the position is highly independent
• Knowledge of and an affinity for fire protection products or (electrical) engineering
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is a plus
